Should you require fuel, please complete the details when you fill out the rsvp form below. Please note that all fuel orders need to be confirmed prior to arrival.

AIRSTRIP RULES

2024 AVIATION VISITOR REGISTRATION AND INDEMNITY

The Doornkuil Airstrip is a PRIVATE UNREGISTERED grass airfield and the PILOT in command needs to assess the safety and take full responsibility for all his actions. The owners of Dooringkuil and or their representatives will not be held responsible.

The Doornkuil Airstrip is NOT available to the public unless prior permission is granted to utilise this airstrip.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that my use of the airstrip and / or facility is potentially dangerous and that I make use of the airstrip and / or facility entirely at my own risk.

I undertake to inspect the airstrip prior to the use thereof and to ensure in all respects that the airstrip is safe for use prior to ant landing or flight. I undertake to take whatever precautions are necessary to ensure that I utilise the airstrip and/or facilities in a safe manner. Accordingly, I utilise the airstrip and / or facilities entirely at my own risk and indemnify and hold harmless, the owners, employees and agents of Doornkuil from all claims, howsoever arising, and whether due to any act, omission or negligence on the part of the owner, the directors, its employees, agents, lessees, shareholders or agents.

I note that this is private property and right of admission is reserved.

I further understand, agree and accept the conditions to fly into and utilise the Doornkuil airstrip facility as follows:

I acknowledge that I undertake to fly to or from the airstrip entirely at my own risk.

I undertake to utilise the airstrip purely at my own risk on the understanding that it is entirely my own responsibility to inspect the runway, taxiway and all facilities and I agree that the decision to utilise as well as any incident resulting there from is undertaken entirely at my own risk.

I agree to operate any aircraft in full compliance with the Civil Aviation Regulations and I agree only to fly to or from the airstrip, aircraft that are airworthy.

I agree to maintain safe circuit patterns and altitudes with due consideration for the users of the airstrip as well as the surrounding neighbours.

Flying will only permit during civil daylight hours. Officially this is from 15 minutes before sunrise to 15 minutes after sunset.

Aircraft should be parked in an orderly manner in the designated areas at the owner’s full discretion, as far as possible from the runway.

Your signature to this indemnity warrants and confirms that you are familiar with the content of this form, all the information, maps and instructions available under the aviation section on www.hluhluweflyin.online and that you have read, understood, and choose to comply with that information.
